Licensure
What is Licensure?
It is understood that courses or their educational before performing ANY intra-oral duties in a dental office. This license entitles the assistant to perform intra-oral duties as specified in Bylaw #17 of the NB Dental Society (NBDS). Applications and additional information can be obtained from the NB Dental Society’s office or visit their website at www.nbdental.com
The following is a breakdown of the licensure requirements:
- must be a graduate from an accredited program
- Clinical Practice Evaluation (CPE) if graduated from a non accredited dental assisting school
- must possess a National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) certificate.
- must be a member in good standing of the NBDAA
